Specialist, person-centred home care for adults living with mental health conditions, learning disabilities and autism β delivered with understanding, patience and genuine respect for each individual.
About This Service
Specialist Support for Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Autism
At Oice Support Services, we provide specialist home care for adults living with mental health conditions, learning disabilities and autism spectrum conditions (ASC). We understand that every person is unique, and that truly effective support must be built around the individual β their communication style, their daily rhythms, their strengths and their needs.
Our trained support workers are experienced in working alongside people who experience anxiety, depression, psychosis, bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism, Downβs syndrome and a wide range of other conditions. We do not offer a one-size-fits-all approach. We take the time to truly understand each person and deliver support that helps them live as independently, safely and confidently as possible.
Our mental health, learning disability and autism support service is available across Selby, Scarborough, Darlington, Derbyshire, Sheffield and Nottinghamshire. Whether you need a few hours a week or intensive daily support, we will design a care plan that works for you and your family.

Our Process
How We Deliver Your Support
Free Initial Assessment
We begin with a free, no-obligation consultation β either at home or by phone β to understand the person's needs, communication style, daily routines, goals and any risks. We listen first and always involve the person themselves in this conversation.
Bespoke Support Plan
We create a detailed, written support plan that is specific to the individual. This covers daily activities, communication strategies, risk management, medication, positive behaviour support approaches and agreed goals. The plan is co-produced wherever possible.
Carefully Matched Support Worker
We carefully match our support worker to the person they will be working with β considering personality, communication style, shared interests and experience. We aim for consistency so a trusted, familiar relationship can develop over time.
Ongoing Review and Flexibility
We monitor progress, review the support plan regularly and adapt our approach as needs change. We maintain open communication with families, carers and healthcare professionals throughout.
Why Choose Us
βWe take time to truly understand each person. Their voice always comes first β and our job is to help them live the life they choose.β
