WE ARE HIRING β JOIN OUR TEAM
Build a Meaningful Career in Care With Oice Support Services
Join a CQC-rated Good care team that values its people, invests in their growth and makes a genuine difference to the lives of people across Dagenham and East London every single day.
Why Oice Support Services Is a Great Place to Work
Care is more than a job. For most people who choose it, it is a vocation β a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others. At Oice Support Services, we know that, and we build our culture around it. We look for people who bring compassion, reliability and a real commitment to the people they support β and in return, we provide the training, the support and the working environment that lets them do their best work.
We are a CQC-rated Good provider, which means our standards are independently verified and our team works to a high professional benchmark. But beyond the inspection outcomes, what we are most proud of is the feedback we receive from our service users and families β the calls and messages that tell us a carer made someone's day, or that a support worker helped someone achieve something they never thought they could.
If you are looking for a role where your work genuinely matters, where you are valued as an individual and where you have room to grow your career β we would love to hear from you. Whether you are new to care or experienced, full-time or part-time, we have a role and a team that can work around your life.
Life at Oice
A Team That Has Your Back
You will never work alone. Our coordinators and senior staff are available to support you, answer questions and help you handle challenging situations.
Learning That Never Stops
From induction to advanced training, we invest in your development throughout your time with us β not just at the start.
A Diverse and Inclusive Team
We are proud of our diverse team and the range of lived experiences, languages and cultural backgrounds our staff bring. Everyone is welcome and valued.
Work That Means Something
Every shift you complete makes a direct difference to someone's quality of life. That is not something you get in many jobs.
βThe best thing about working here is that you genuinely feel valued β by the management, by the clients and by the families. That makes all the difference.β
What We Offer Our Team
We believe that valued employees provide better care. Here is what you can expect when you join Oice Support Services:
Full Induction and Training
A comprehensive induction programme covers everything you need to know before your first visit β care skills, manual handling, safeguarding, medication and communication. Your training never stops after day one.
DBS Check Supported
We support and fund the DBS application process for all new starters β so there is nothing for you to arrange or pay for upfront. We make joining as simple as possible.
Flexible Working Hours
We offer full-time, part-time and bank positions across morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts β so you can build a schedule that fits around your family, studies or other commitments.
Real Career Progression
From care worker to senior carer, care coordinator to registered manager β we promote from within and support team members who want to develop their career in health and social care.
Paid Training and Development
All mandatory and role-specific training is fully paid. We also fund NVQ and QCF qualifications in Health and Social Care for team members who wish to gain formal qualifications.
Consistent Support from Management
You will always have a care coordinator available to call for advice, support or guidance β particularly important in complex or unfamiliar situations. You are never left to manage alone.
Mileage Allowance
Travel between service users is compensated with a mileage allowance for staff using their own vehicle β so getting between visits does not come out of your pocket.
Diverse and Welcoming Team
We are proud to have a team that reflects the community we serve β with colleagues from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and experiences. Inclusion is not a policy; it is simply who we are.
Recognition and Appreciation
Good work is noticed and celebrated at Oice Support Services. We recognise outstanding care, acknowledge milestones and ensure our team members know how much their contribution is valued.

What We Look For in Our Team
Skills can be taught. Character cannot. Here are the qualities that make someone a great fit at Oice Support Services:
Genuine Compassion
A real desire to make a positive difference in the lives of the people you support β not just a job, but a vocation.
Reliability and Punctuality
Service users depend on you arriving when you say you will. Reliability is one of the most important qualities in home care.
Good Communication
Clear, respectful communication with service users, families and colleagues β including the ability to write accurate, concise visit records.
Teamwork
Care is never delivered in isolation. You need to work well with your colleagues, coordinators and the wider healthcare team around each person.
Trustworthiness
You will be working in people's homes and with vulnerable individuals. The highest standards of integrity and professional behaviour are non-negotiable.
Adaptability
Every service user is different. The ability to adapt your approach, communication style and working method to each individual is essential.
No Experience? No Problem.
Many of our best team members came to care from completely different backgrounds β retail, hospitality, education, construction and beyond. What they brought was the right attitude, and we gave them everything else.
If you are new to care, here is what we provide:
- βA comprehensive paid induction before you begin working
- βShadowing shifts with experienced carers before working independently
- βAn assigned supervisor throughout your first three months
- βFull support with your DBS application at no cost to you
- βFunding for NVQ qualifications once you are ready
We are not looking for perfect CVs. We are looking for the right people.

What Our Team Says
I came to Oice with no care experience at all β I used to work in retail. The induction was thorough, the support in those first months was brilliant and now three years later I am a senior carer. I genuinely love this job.
Amara
Care Worker, 3 years
Working in supported living is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. Watching someone achieve independence they were told they would never have β that is what keeps you going every single day.
Daniel
Support Worker, 18 months
The management here actually listens. If you have a concern, it is taken seriously. If you have an idea, it is considered. I have worked for agencies where you are just a number β Oice is completely different.
Priya
Senior Care Worker, 4 years
